My last Major Company Training was very unique. Very different than any other Network Marketing Training I have ever attended. It was mostly dedicated to Personal Development, but also, the way we are taught is unique. Our Director of Training delivered through performances of different characters various messages to be applied in our daily life and business. At times very moving and at times very funny. Being educated and entertained at the same time assures we don't forget the lessons.
One of these characters was a man on his dying bed... this man, starts to reflect about life on his final moments, and speaks about how we have to Start Living Today... here is what he said:
"If you know someone you haven't told them in a long time you love them, tell them... how about you run out of time or they do, and you never have the chance? Expressing how much we care to our loved ones and showing kindness to strangers can mean the world to them, and to us, as the day we part we will have no regrets.
The problem is you think you have more time... how many times we postpone our own dreams for tomorrow, and in doing so time goes by, and there comes a day when you are in your final moments and you realize you never made them come true because you always said "I'll do it tomorrow"
We spend so much time worrying... start living and stop worrying so much about tomorrow.
What's really important to you?... start living life to the fullest. Do you realize this life is the only shot? What is really important to you? What do you really want to do? What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to go?
How are you treating people who love you?.... often we take people we love for granted. Sometimes we don't treat them as well as they deserve... How are you treating your spouse? Your children? your parents? Your friends? Your pets and plants? They all have a soul.
What if it was your last year?...How would you start living life if this year was the last one? What would you do differently?
People go through life as if it was an obligation. Start living now, the way you want to. What other people think is irrelevant.
We are all gonna go, be loving and caring. Give everything you have today. Someday there won't be tomorrow so make this day count"
... and then he closes his eyes and dies.
This performance was outstanding, so moving, a great reminder of how we should be living our lives. Personally, I have had several wake up calls lately and just today while I was editing this Notes for you, I got one...
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment"
Was this inspiring? If it was, I would greatly appreciate if you commented below and shared on Facebook.
With lots of appreciation,
P.S: I will be sharing more notes from Day#3 from this Event where we had Robert Kiyosaki as a Keynote Speaker so stay tuned for the next Blog Post...also remember to express appreciation to those you love TODAY.
